Enrollment & Eligibility

• Students of all ages are welcome to join Fussilat Madrasa.
• For students under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the registration process.
• Students must provide accurate information during enrollment to ensure proper scheduling and placement.

Teacher Assignment & Gender Guidelines

• Students under the age of 13 may be taught by male or female teachers.
• Students aged 13 and above will be assigned a teacher of the same gender (i.e., male students with male teachers, female students with female teachers), unless a special exception is discussed and approved by the scheduling team.
• Most of our female teachers wear niqāb (face covering). During online classes, they may uncover their face only when teaching female students. We kindly ask that no male family members be present or able to view the teacher during such sessions.
• If a male parent or guardian wishes to observe any part of a class, prior coordination must be made with the teacher so she can turn off her camera or remain covered accordingly.

• We offer classes throughout the year with only two scheduled breaks:
•   – Eid al-Fitr: 3 days
•   – Eid al-Adha: 4 days
• No refunds or reschedules are available for classes that fall during Eid holidays, as they are planned closures.

Attendance, Cancellations & Make-Up Policy

• Students are expected to attend classes consistently and punctually.
• Each student is allowed up to 2 class cancellations every 4 weeks. Additional cancellations will be charged, except in emergency situations.
• Cancellations must be made at least 3 to 6 hours before the scheduled class. If less notice is given, the class will be counted and charged as taken.
• Students are responsible for arranging make-up classes for any canceled sessions.
• If no suitable time can be found for a make-up session, a refund will be issued for the missed class.

Payments & Refunds

• Payments are made every 4 weeks in advance, and are due within 5 days of receiving the invoice.
• If payment is not received within 5 days, classes will be automatically suspended until payment is completed.
• We accept secure and flexible payment methods, including: PayPal, Stripe, Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer.
• If a student chooses to pause or permanently stop classes, they are entitled to a refund for any future classes from their current paid period that were not yet taken.

Teacher Communication & Boundaries

• All communication with teachers should remain focused on educational matters related to the classes only.
• Any administrative or financial issues must be directed to the Fussilat Madrasa support team, not to individual teachers.

Dress Code

• Students are expected to dress modestly and appropriately in accordance with the respect and sanctity of Qur’an and Islamic education during class sessions.

Special Programs & Support

• Orphans are eligible for 50% off or free classes, depending on availability and approval.
• Low-income families can apply for reduced-fee programs to ensure access to quality Islamic education.

Privacy & Data Protection

• All personal information provided is kept confidential and used solely for scheduling, communication, and educational purposes.
• Fussilat Madrasa does not share student information with any third parties.

Learning Materials & Copyright

• All digital resources, class recordings, and lesson materials are for personal student use only.
• Redistribution, sharing, or copying our materials without permission is not allowed.

Technical Requirements

• Students must have a stable internet connection, a suitable device (PC, tablet, or smartphone), and access to our teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, or others as instructed).
• Please ensure camera, microphone, and audio settings are working before class begins.

Teacher Reassignment

• Students may request a change of teacher if needed, based on learning style, scheduling, or comfort.
• Fussilat Madrasa also reserves the right to reassign tutors as necessary to maintain high-quality instruction and availability.
